Trading Central’s annual Online Broker Summit rebrands to Digital Wealth Events

Following fourteen years of industry demand and attendee growth, the annual Online Broker Summit has relaunched as Digital Wealth Events. The new brand will feature a hybrid, multi-event line-up that gathers global leaders within the investment community to discuss emerging trends and share knowledge in the spirit of moving the industry forward together.

The relaunch is inspired by the evolution of the investing industry and successful experimentation with events throughout the pandemic. “Since initially launching our Summit in 2008, the industry we operate in has seen substantial change,” says Alain Pellier, CEO of Trading Central. “To facilitate the best discussion possible around the challenges and opportunities within today’s investment space, we needed to open the event to a wider segment of the industry. Digital Wealth Events will cater not only to traditional online brokerage platforms, but to the growing number of businesses offering robo-advisories and mobile applications.”

With humble beginnings within a Trading Central Ottawa boardroom, the event has continued to grow throughout the years to include ten live North American Summits, three virtual iterations throughout the pandemic and a multitude of intimate lunch events held in various locations globally. The launch will kick off with an intimate roundtable in Sydney, Australia on March 15 and the flagship Summit in Chicago, May 24-26, 2023. It will be followed by a series of virtual “power-hour” panel and breakout room sessions throughout the year.
